Sec 3/4 life- The 1st 3 days

Lol..This is WeiQi here helpin this cat demon, Pei ShAn, to blog. Under Pei Shan request, i'm blogging bout the days in class while she was not around-busy with the Sec 1 Orientation. So..dun mind me much..DAY 1- Wednesday Today the first day of school, after 2 months of holidays. Time passed too fast for our liking. Our form teacher is Mr Kristnan. That day was the 1st day of scl so we never follow time table (actually we tat day den get the time table lor) . Anyway the first few periods is form teacher period. We sorted out the seating arrangements. Before, all sat with their friends, so it was like girls together here and there, boys together at another side..so obviously the teacher wasnt happy with this type of arrangements and we were made to change the arrangements. We were made to find a partner of the opposite gender or else..Mr kristnan would decide himself. Apparently that wasn't a very good decision coz as all the teachers are, they surely would find joy in findin a partner tat you would never imagined to be seated with.
PeiSHan and i sat at the front (cant sit at the back coz very distractin and had a higher chance of not concentratin in class and tend to feel more sleepy, thus, ignoring the lesson in front) Hearing Mr Kristnan's words, we were made to find another partner. Fortunately, we got someone we know. PeiShan went to sit with Dominic, who was at the side, by the window. I got Mousey to sit with me. And all is settled. Yet there are a few who still sat wif a partner of their own gender. Needless to say, Mr Kristnan went to change that himself.
It wasnt long before we were made aware of a new student-one of the parent is japanese-thus the jap name. Ah..another change of positions coz new student need to feel comfortable at the new environment. After that elections of chairperson, IT rep, keyholder, so on was made.
PeiShan was to be the chairperson. KAh Jing the vice-chairman, Dominic the treasurer, SiHui and the dunno who is the keyholder..so on and forth.
After the PS,KJ,Dominic left for the sec 1 orientation, we waited for our maths teacher arrival. It was the new teacher ,Mrs Lee. We didn't start lessons straightaway, and she talk to us about the reality of working days, so on..who would listen tat attentively and remember it by heart. Obviously not me..plus the fact tat i dun really have such a good memory where i could remember everything to the slightest details didnt help abit. After maths is recess..
1/2 hr recess den we got to humanities. Needed a few minutes to sort ourselves out as we got to our respective classes. 3/3- History> teacher is the new teacher, Mdm Zuraida. 3/4-Geo, Ms Tan. 3/5- Lit, Ms Matthews. I'm not going into details here. Why am i helpin PS to write in the first place? I muz be outta my mind.
After that we had Eng lessons- Ms matthews. We had to find pics of festive celebrations. OMG..I dun remember wat happen after that..and i not in the mood to find out..so..deal wif me and we go straight to the next day..:)
DAY 2We had IED- Ms lau. We went to Biz centre and slack there coz not Ms Lau is not teachin us th subjects and tat lessons on thurs if for revision so for that lessons, we could do whatever we want. And tat we did..by lazing around and waitin for time to pass. Some slept, some read, some chat.
After that we had eng, where we did journal on the most memorable festive celebrations as alot of ppl nva bring the pics. After that, we spent the rest of the period writing in the journal. We had to write more than 150 words lor. Soon, we went to recess. i went wif Bao.. After we came back from recess, we had scocial studies by Mdm Zuraida. Instead of starting lessons, Mdm Zuraida had us to play a game. the class is split into 2 groups. 2 ppl had to come out to the front where 2 chairs are placed facing each other. There, Mdm Zuraida would write 7 words fround from social studies chpt 1 text and the person facing the board would then hint about the word and Ashraf would timed it. There is a limit time where they have to try and get all 7words right. All words are 1 word like social, army, soldiers so on. Takings turns, by the end of the lessons, our group won.:) Luckily we can talk or else we would hardly get anywhere. It was humorous sometimes. It was not long before the lesson end.
We had POA next where MR Ngian told us about the plans he had and the jobs the students had. Like, facilitators, trainers, so on. We had not start lessons yet as he kept talking abouts the school achievements in POA, ppl hiring his students to work for them, part-time. Overall, it was abit boring. And i would not got into specifics. We had maths after that. ANd it was then we realised that pupils from other class would also be joining us in 3/4. Some students are also called out to 3/5 classroom.. By the time we settled in 3/4, there are over 40 students in the class. Some even had to get chairs from the other class so that they would have a place to sit. There we started chpt 1 on Indices. As well as having homework to be handed in next week.
After that, Mousey and i went to tiong to buy thIngs de. but PS called then last minute decide to eat at tiong together so we waited for her to come. While waiting, we shop around tiong till almost 3pm before going KFC to eat.. Pei Shan came with Felicia, Joel, Daniel, Edmund and Sin Ni. Mousey was doing his eng hw while waiting for them to arrive and was mid-way there when they finally came. There they sat at the next table and bought food to eat.
We chatted about things randomly, like classes, homework among other things. Halfway through the meal, we saw a coakroach by the wall behind..and it was still alive! We told one of the guy worker then he made to kill it (we thought) but he use the rag and swipe it..the coakroach drop onto the sofa seat and the worker went to catch it again but missed and it got away. It's like WTH? We all went to sit at the other table in fear of it being nearby. We were all saying not to go back there again. LOl. After a few minutes, we resumed eating and chatting but nobody went to their original place. Only Daniel never move from his place, and continue to eat there. Anyway he was facing the wall so it don't really matter to him.
By 5 pm liddat, we went our separate ways. Joel left first then after he leave, we all then went home. And that the end of the second day..
DAY 3We had PE straight after morning assembly. 3/3 also, but we were at sports hall while they are in the hall. The sec 1 was also at sports hall having a talk. We had our heights and weights measured before we went to parade square. Mr Teo led the class in running around the school-2 rounds- the boys ran 3 rounds. By the time everyone finish running, it was almost time for the next class..but there was more than enough time for us to change and get a drink. Some say we would be having recess while some say it's chinese lessons next coz it was only about 9am and we never had recess this early before. Reaching class, it was then we all confirm the fact that it was indeed recess time and 15min of our recess time was gone.
We had our chinese lesson after recess..there Ms Wong came into 3/4 before reading out the names for her class. Some went to 3/5 and 3/3. Pei Shan and i was to go to 3/3. I sat with BaoYi coz she also in that class. Our chinese teacher is Mrs Lui. She made jokes in class but she said that she made jokes so as to let us learn and that only she can joke around, we cannot joke around in class. After her arangements where those who was from 2/3, 2/4, 2/5, sat at a row together, and her instructions, we started lessons, the 1st chpt of the chinese text. We had to read the whole story, and then she would ask the 1st page is about what, 2nd pg is about wat and so on. After, she would ask what we learn from the whole story.
Science period was not phy/bio but chem. We were confused by the phy lab written on the time table so quite alot of pupils forget to bring their text. We were made to draw the apparatus instead. Those 12 equipment found in the lab and for our usage. Wow..before we knew it, it was C4L lessons. We had discussion on decorating the class notice board. Mr kristnan want us to get 1st prize on the decoration of the class notice board. lol. Not many respond to the speaker in front. Lol. Then the class was very quiet. Only some chip in suggestions at times.
The theme for the notice board was on Racial HArmony and we had to use recycled materials. It's like always use recycled materials..abit boring. Yet it was fun to see a 'trash' transformed into something useful and an art piece. :) It juz made one realise tat things are not always as they seems.
haha..ya..so i guess that the end then. Cya..
