***Trust me people, my entries for this camp are going to be longer than my entries for council camp. Sorry for the lack of photos for this camp because i cannot possibly take photos while playing exhausting games.***

3Day 2Night Training Camp for PAYM Service-Learning Clubs (Level 1)
DAY 1

Early in the morning, i waited for Pherlyn at the interchange bus stop. She was late and we took a cab to school. I thought we were late but Mrs Selven and Danl were came later. All of us were in the mini school bus when Danl came. Blur King, the bus was right in front of him when he walked towards school. Elly, Ivan, Jona and Kenneth were like shouting in the bus. Dumb him, he walked across the zebra crossing and walked towards general office. All of us were laughing at him. I called him and finally came on board. We clapped at his arrive. We did many lame things on the bus.

We reached there and Mrs Selven was suppose to bring us to the learning lounge but she seemed lost and we just follow her to the lost world.Reached there and we were relieved to find that there was only one school with us throughout the camp. That school was Bedok North Sec, BNSS. We had our programme briefing by Louis the senior lecturer. He was a funny old man with white hair...(heehee). He said that teachers were not allowed to stay with us because Louis himself, Cherilyn the instructor and Ms Choy the lecturer were going to torture us with games. Anyway, the rooms we're going to sleep in were already a torture for us. The air-conditioner was about to freeze us at 16 degrees. The comfortable bed, soft pillow and warm blanket per person which was suppose to make us sleep once we laid down but some of us were going to have trouble sleeping because of the snorings made by others. We're going to bath in hot water in our attached bathroom. All of us were like, WOW! Our rooms were equivalent to a 3.5 star hotel except that there was no room service and television. The first floor was the boys bunk and the second floor was the girls bunk. Boys were not allowed to come up to the second floor and girls were not allowed to go into boys bunk. Louis said that there was a cave lounge for the boys and a forest lounge for the girls. The difference between the normal rooms and the lounges were that, normal rooms hold 5 person per room and 1 attached bathroom. Lounges hold 7 person per room and 2 attached bathrooms. Lounges have paintings on the wall to match the theme.


After all the WOW-ings at the rooms, we sat in a circle for our icebreakers. We had a round of introduction of our names. The microphone went around faster and faster. We had many rounds of introduction. LOL...when danl wanted to pass me the microphone, i had to stretched myself to get it. Louis said that the bags between Danl and me don't need an introduction of themselves so we can move the bags out of the circle and close up the circle. +_+......





Next game, we had double whacko.

How to play:


-Form one circle with people sitting down and one person standing behind each settled down person.


-The people sitting down cannot do anything except screaming and shouting for help before the whacker whacks him/her.


-The person standing behind has to shout another person's name sitting down before the whacker whacks the person sitting down in front of him/her.


-If the whacker whacks the person sitting down before the person standing up shouts another person's name who sits down, the person who get whack becomes the whacker and the person standing up sits down and the whacker before stands behind him/her.


During the game, Louis gave a BNSS girl a gaint toy microphone to hit others. Joel hit me and i became the whacker. I must admit that i was a rough whacker. I whacked Jona damn hard, the sound effect coming from the whack was loud. The whack was not counted and than i begun ALMOST whack the others. The second person i whacked damn hard was Danl. He never defend himself and i when 'BOOM' on his head. He was not suppose to say the name and hahaha, he became the next whacker. Next, the people standing up and sitting down had to swoop places. Stupid Danl whacked my head after that, HA, i became the whacker and i started whacking peoples' head softly. When it came to the point where i get to hit Outramians, i started to put in more force. I whacked Danl on his head again twice because i could not hear the name of another person. So i hit him for nothing, when i started to approach Outramians sitting down, the BNSS people standing behind them were all so anxious especially when i almost hit Eldrid, Ivan and Jona. I became the whacker twice, Felicia and Zina was not whacked even once. Ivan told me that i hit Danl damn hard, him standing beside him can hear the sound effect. A VERY BIG SORRY TO JONA AND DANL!?! {poor people who i got to whack damn hard}


We had our break and had another introduction between us, the girls. We found out that they were made up of Sec 3s representing different CCAs and we were made up of Sec 2 councilors and Sec 1s. [they may become next year's council batch] There were 13 OSS and 28 BNSS. 13 boys and 28 girls. Only chosen Sec 2s councilors and chosen Sec 1s who wanted to come for the camp came. [Tricia, Syn Yu, Shahul and one Sec 1 cannot make it for the camp.] [Those who came for the camp are, Felicia, Zina, Pherlyn, ME, Ivan, Joel, Jona, Danl, Elly, Kenneth, Li Hiang, Juliana, Ariel]




After the break, we were spilt into two big groups. We named ourselves Chipmunks! The other group was super cows.


We Chipmunks thought that it was, "mad cow mad cow mad cow~~"

During the discussion of the cheer, we were given bandanna. Cool colours were the blue, green and purple. Warm colours were the red, yellow and orange. Chipmunks and Super cows were snatching over the colours. We had a scissors paper stone match. Super cows chose first and chose cool colours. We chose Warm colours and said that we're HOT!!!!

We had another game.....
