Council camp was fun!!! All thanks to trybe and Ex-COs. They put in alot of effort to plan the games and workshops!
Day 2 Morning call at 7am by Tracy and Derek. *Yawn*~~i only slept for 5hr++ After breakfast, we had Energizer programme. At first most of us thought that it was morning exercise but we were totally wrong! We were suppose to do the council dance! That's not it, this was only a practice. Our performing date was 2008 Sec 1 orientation! You're kidding me! We didn't want to dance but after seeing Derek and Kean Thong dancing, we were all encouraged. No choice but to do the council dance~~~ ***
After our fun and laughing, we had our workshop:Prioritisation. We played "concentration" bombing each other's group. Mostly, it was Peanut-fishy and Bouncing-balls bombing each other.
So in the end it sounded like FISHBALLS! We were all laughing our heads out!Later, Derek had his modified council dance, i videoed it down but it was of sideways.
After that, we had another workshop on project management. During the workshop we were given a task to do. Each group was to make a float out of materials we purchase from a shop. Each group were given $300 and we were too keep our budget to the lowest. Our float must be of 20% off ground and it must travel to a distance of 3m with a push or a pull. We were given a time limit of 1.5hr. During the constructing of floats, each group showed great teamwork! When the time was almost up, the shop offered all sorts of sales! This was the time where all the people in charge of the money ran to the shop! All chong! Our group was very thankful of Ferlicia for "chonging" to the shop and got the free supplies. You must understand why we were all so excited about the free stuffs we're getting. Our so-called shop was actually a "black market". (e.g. toilet roll-$20)

After lunch, we played concentration to decide who present their float first. Peanut-fishy pushed Kah Jing to present. They used the pull method and the float just passed the 3m mark! Next we had Bouncing-balls to present theirs.Benedict pushed their "pig-dragon" and guess what it passed the 3m mark but the pig head U-turned and landed right on the 3m line. We were all arguing whether to take it as a pass or a fail. Eventually, after all the argument, we decided that it was a pass. Then Derek from Juz-wait presented their float designed by Daniel. Their float passed. Now we're arguing that their float did not met the criteria of 20% base area. Jovita (trybe staff) picked up the float and the middle was empty. So they did meet the criteria. T.A.P 's turn, i went up up to talk about our float. I said that it could fly and thus everyone were saying that it was fake that it could fly. Than, Nick (trybr member) promised us that if my group can make it fly across 3m we would get full mark for our float. No body would had guessed that Ivan kicked the float sending it flying across 3.5m. Everyone were in deep shock! Hey, kicking is a type of push! WOW!!! We got our full mark and won the others! The problem is the the kick by Ivan destroyed the whole float. Hahaha.
We had our teambuilding games after the workshop. First we had charade. We invited Ms Chan to act out.
Than i was asked to act. I were to act out a movie tittle, "American Pie Band Camp". I gave the 'huh?' face. i acted out that i was eating a pie.Nick guessed American Pie. I was so glad! Than i acted out that i was blowing trumpet to say that it was band. Nick gave the correct answer! YES!!!
Kean Thong was putting a straight row of 3 canteen benches. Soon we had our next challenging game, Birthday line. All of us stood up onto the benches. Than Derek told us how to play the game. Without touching the floor, all of us had to arrange ourselves from oldest to youngest. Great! We were all packed like sardine and you still ask us to arrange ourselves. I was October 5th and people older than me were behind me, they had to move in front of me. With teamwork we shift ourselves to a position that we would not fall and at the same time support the person moving up front. This game was a real challenge! Who ever fell off had to go the the opposite side of the line and start moving frontwards again. Its like one fall all fall! After all our hardwork, we had a 2nd round of birthday line. This time from youngest to oldest. We went back the opposite direction again.
Being smelly and sweaty, we went to sports hall for our floorball match. First 2 teams to play were Juz-wait and Bouncing-balls. the score of 0:0, DRAW! Next was T.A.P and Peanut-fishy. Ivan was the goalkeeper and i was the so-called defender. Kah Jing was the other group's attacker, die. Kah Jing kept charging towards the goal and i was trying to snatch the ball away. In the end, Kah Jing scored a goal! 1:0 Peanut-fishy won. Third match included Nick, Prashanth and Ms Chan in Bouncing-balls' group while Jovita was added into Peanut-fishy's group. It was a fierce battle. Nick was doing the "OI!" trying to scare Tricia and Jona because both of them kept blocking his way to attack. Oh i must say this, Tricia and Jona made great defenders for Peanut-fishy. Prashanth and Eldrid were charging towards Dominic trying to score a goal but Raychard and Dominic was protecting the goal post! As usual, Kah Jing tried to score a goal but Jovita, Ms Chan and Benedict were better defenders. During the war, Benedict and Jovita fell down. Benedict was complaining about his butt having a blooming flower. Time's up and the score was 0:0, draw again!
Later in the evening, we had POW game. Kean Thong was briefing us how to play it. The Sec 3s were demonstrating for us. First build a tank, than only the person in it can bomb others. We had to snatch POWs from other groups.
The POWs were bread cut by Kean Thong on the floor. Eldrid didn't know that the PAOs were cut on the floor and ate half of the PAO. He only knew it when the game ends.Haha...
The game was fun and wet. Somehow, all of us got too excited and forgotten all the rules. We started playing rough and Pherlyn and Joel fell down. Joel got cut. After all the injuries, we ended the game and clean up the parade square. We went to bath and had our dinner.
We had yet another workshop on reflection. All writing what we learned while playing the games. Yet again, we had our concentration game. Bouncing-balls got bombed again. Haha. The argument started again. Edmund than volunteered to present first. After Juz-wait was Bouncing-balls, T.A.P, Peanut-fishy.
After group discussion, we had our night adventure briefing. Derek told us a murder case story happened in a hotel (OSS). At 9pm, we started our cluedo game. My group's first destination was Hotel reception (foyer) . We interviewed the receptionist, Jovial. Jovial was laughing away because we're in the same group but later she acted quite good. Destination 2, Hotel bar (E-cafe). We questioned Derek, a student who is studying at the bar? Derek sounded so gay while acting. Destination 3, Hotel carpark(Principal's car slot). Kean Thong the valet was the frist person i suspected. He acted like a blur person. 4th destination, concert hall(hall), we found Shabira the musician who played flute. Another one who acted blur. 5th destination, kitchen(canteen), Qin Fang the cook was there. Qin Fang acted the best! She was cutting carrots on the table and looked so emo. I heard that no group made her laugh except us. 6th destination, ghost clue(outside cultural room). There was no light and we were all so scared. Ivan joked that when we come to this type of place, shout out to the ghost that "HERE I COME!" We were all laughing. Felicia and I looked at Ivan to ask him take the lead. He said that he was afraid of the dark. Than we looked at Jian Wei with pitiful eyes. He took the lead and we held all our touchlight tightly. Than don't no who screamed and all of us ran back screaming. Jian Wei said that there was something pasted onto the wall. I suggest switching on the lights. Patrick switched it on and we walked timidly there. Only to find a piece of paper stained with blood(red ink). We had to look for a ghost with a red balloon tied onto her hand. Than we need to say a sentence to her and she will tell us how the murder took place. last destination, room 701, the place where the murder took place(sec 2/2 classroom). Prashanth the inspector was in the room telling us what might had happen and the clues found in the room. After that we when looking for the ghost. Guess what the ghost was Tracy! She told us her story and we gather all the clues together. We conclude that Kean Thong was the murderer. We were right, Kean Thong was the murderer. We solved the case but our reason for Kean Thong to kill the victim was a little out of point so we came in 2nd place while Peanut-fish won! Zina shone the touchlight at Dominic's face. At night, Zina,Benedict, Edmund, Prashanth, Hesinah, Cornelius and i were playing Cheat again. This time outside the girls room. Raychard ordered Mac. Daniel was sianning away until mac comes. Zina was busy talking to her MAO MAO while playing Cheat. Dominic was complaining to Prashanth that Prashanth still own him 1 night of sleep. Benedict was complaining that his butt was very pain after having a flower bloomed on his butt. Cornelius, Edmund and i were busy cheating on each other's card. Kah Jing and Raychard were busy playing with Benedict's PSP. When mac came all of us stopped what we were playing and ate Mac at about 2.45am. I woke Tricia and Syn Yu up for their Mac. Soon joel joined us and he ordered mac again. Daniel was busy calculating the money people owned him. LOL~~~All of us TON until about 4plus when Derek and Ivan came back from canteen. Once again, Derek call us off to sleep. We pushed Prashanth out saying that President said can TON. Prashanth said listen to Derek because he's the camp's commander. Sigh~~~all of us when back to sleep. School at night. Playing CHEAT. Benedict was trying to be funny. Prashanth teaching us a new game. Eating supper. Busy eating Mac The mass we made. Daniel was busy calculating the money people owned him. Benedict and Dominic.
Finally people, i uploaded the rest of my photos using my dad's computer. His computer is juat 100times faster than mine. :3
