Council camp was fun!!!All thanks to trybe and Ex-COs. They put in alot of effort to plan the games and workshops!
DAY 1
We got into our groups assigned by the Ex-COs in the M-box and played our very first game of the day, bursting of balloons. At first all of us looked dead but after seeing Ivan and Raychard so hyper busting each other's balloons, we all started to run like mad. After the chaos, we had a round of introduction of ourselves to the trybe members. We tried to be funny and most of us, including me, said that we were good for nothing. We got back into our groups and gave ourselves group names and a cheer. Mine was T.A.P (the attitude people) our cheer was,
" T.A.P! Taptty taptty tap tap."
"I can't hear you! Taptty taptty tap tap."
"Everywhere we goooo,
people want to knowww,
whooo we'reee,
whereee we come from,
so we tell them.
We're from TAP TAP!"
Oh, by the way, my group was made up of Qin Fang, Jovial, Patrick, Jian wei, Ivan, Felicia and me! The other groups were Peanut-fishy (Tracy's group), Bouncing-balls (Parshanth's group), Juz-wait (Derek's group)
At about 1pm++, we set of for Community Waypoint Challenge. Travel all the way to Hougang for the the stations we need to go. Following the 3 GPS, we walked to our 1st destination covering about 1.2km. Reached there, we were to fill a big bag of rubbish found along the way towards our next station.
Lessons learned:
-Singapore was not so clean after all
-All of us have a part to protect the environment
Next stop, covering a distance of 0.8km++ we had to take turns acting out the starfish story.
Lesson learned:
-A small difference is still a difference
Before we proceeding to the our 3rd stop, the boys in our group had to
blow balloons, stuff a balloon under their shirt and pretended to be pregnant.Qin Fang, Jovial, Felicia and me had a great time laughing along the way to our 3rd stop. We even forced them to go through a shopping mall.
Lessons learned:
-Think and make the right choice
-You will have a heavy responsibility and burden to carry if you are pregnant
-Teen pregnancy is definitely BAD!
At our 3rd station, we choose Ivan to squeeze all the toothpaste out of the tube and put them back in again.
by the way Joel was the trybe members who followed us round and gave us the quest we needed to complete, and Ivan was our leader.
Lesson learnt:
-Some things we do or say may hurt others and it is not easy to take it back
Along the way towards our station 4 we needed to go back to school because we don't have enough time to continue the game. Plus being late will minus away our points.
On the way back, all of as run to the MRT station and gladly missed the train. We got news that Juz-wait took the train we missed. We planned to overtake them by alighting at Chinatown MRT and ran back to school. On the run, i thought that i would just die of exhaustion. We reached canteen and saw that no one was there, i almost lost hope that we were last. God blessed me that we were first! We rested and the others came.
After bathing, we had a workshop conducted by the trybe where we learned why reflection is so important. Reflection is important because we get to know where went well and where want wrong. Knowing where we went wrong help us to learn from our mistakes.
At 9.30-10.30pm we had our team building game organised by the EX-COs. The EX EX-COs came to school too. Played flour and water games, the whole sports hall was in a mess. So everyone helped to clean up the place. Some mop/wipe the water puddles. Some sweeped the flour area. In the End, our poor EX-COS had to mop the entire sports hall at midnight.

During supper, we celebrated Eldrid's Birthday and Mr Sim's farewell.
Eldrid later got chased by Benedict and both smashed cake on each other's face. Too bad i didn't took a photo of it.Got to sleep but all of us were so hyper that we couldn't sleep.At about 1am++ Zina, Aysha and me went to the boys dormitory to play CHEAT. Than soon, Daniel, Joel and Felicia came from the band side. Soon after, Derek wanted us to sleep. Too bad we girls had to listen to him and went back to our room. After all Derek was the camp commander. I got back to my own sleeping back and fell asleep, it rained and the room was very cold...
